City of Palmetto Municipal Court handles citations and ordinance violations within the city limits of Palmetto. Municipal Court Chief Judge Russell Ross and Honorable Clay Collins preside over the court.

How to pay your ticket/fine

Fines for any offense that is not a must appear violation are payable up to the court date listed on the citation. If you choose to appear, fines are due in full on the day of court. We accept cash, money orders, cashier’s check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  If you cannot pay in full, you must come to court, see the judge and request probation until payment can be made in full.  Payments must be received on or before the court date on your citation. You may pay in person or by mail, enclose the yellow copy of the citation and payment and mail it to 401 Carlton Road Palmetto, Ga. 30268.

Non-payment of your fine and or/failure to appear on your court date could result in a Failure to Appear Warrant.
