Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals is comprised of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and Council.  Each member serves a three (3) year term.  One of these five members can serve concurrently as a member of the Planning and Zoning Board.  Powers and duties of the Board include:

1. Appeals from actions of the zoning administrator. 
2. Request for a variance. 
3. Request for extension or enlargement of the nonconforming use of a structure. 
4. Continuance of nonconformance.
