City of Palmetto is proud to be the recipient of a Livible Centers Initiative (LCI) Grant from Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC).  The grant gave the City $100,000, to which the City will add a $25,000 match, to apply toward a study of the Town Center area for future developement and improvements. 

The study included four Public Meetings.  The meetings consisted of discussions, surveys and activities to let the City Officials know what you, as a citizen and/or landowner, want to see in the future for Palmetto.
