CPR/AED CLASSES - Tuesday, August 17, 2010
     CPR Classes
 
CPR for the Community and Workplace (Includes AED)* Approx 3hrs.
 
Persons who are occupationally required or just desire to have CPR and AED knowledge and skills, such as emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personal, child care workers, teachers, parents, and babysitters.
First Come First Served

RECYCLE COOKING GREASE AND OILS

Help prevent clogged sewers by recycling your kitchen grease.  The new recycling bin is located behind the newspaper recycle bins and the Community Garden at Wayside Park.  No trash, water or motor oil, please.

 
WATER RESTRICTIONS - Friday, June 12, 2009
Palmetto Watering Restrictions
 
 
The City of Palmetto has returned to a
non-drought schedule for outdoor water use. Under a non-drought schedule, outdoor water use is allowed three days a week on assigned days using odd and even-numbered addresses.
 
Odd: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
 
Even: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
 
 
Water use may occur at any time of the day on the assigned days, but to be water efficient, landscape watering should not occur between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on any day.
 
The Following is prohibited:
 
A.)     Using hydrants for any purpose other than firefighting, public health and safety, or Flushing.
 
B.)     Outdoor watering on Friday.
 
 
Water Quality - Tuesday, June 23, 2009

The City of Palmetto is pleased to report that all of the water bodies in its jurisdiction are meeting water quality standards of the Clean Water Act.  For more information about these TMDL criteria, visit the Georgia EPD’s website at the link below.
